Job Description
Clinical Analyst
Works independently on the design, installation and maintenance of small or less complex systems projects, and/or, under general supervision, in elements of major or complex systems. Starts to specialize in a particular area of the organization, providing consultative systems guidance to the user area in the application of systems analysis to business problems. This fully qualified level is competent to initiate and implement systems design projects of moderate size and complexity. Carries out needed analyses either pro-actively or in response to user requests. Ensures regular reviews and maintenance of existing systems. Develops user-level and technical requirements specifications for new systems or changes to existing systems. Oversees the development of user documentation (instructions for using the systems). Works with IT management to ensure systems are in line with overall IT policies and standards. Is responsible for client satisfaction with regard to all performed activities. Analyze partner's business, and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
Systems Analyst
Works to train providers and staff in the inpatient and clinic environment. Needs a working knowledge of medical terminology, and hospital/medical office operations. Requires a strong training delivery and presentation skills. All trainers need excellent oral and written communication skills. Trainers must be flexible, adaptable, autonomous and organized. Trainers will be required to work occasional evenings, nights and weekends as appropriate to provide support. May work with IS Director/Manager on Strategic Planning and Budgeting. Review future products. May work with module leader on training and education issues (new and on-going). Ensures testing of changes before implementation into LIVE. Assess, operate, trouble shoot, maintain, and refine healthcare computer systems. Analyze partner's business, and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. May analyze or recommend commercially available software. May supervise computer programmers.
Required Skills
Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
Required Experience
Clinical software experience preferred
Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
Hospital software experience preferred
Clinical applications support background preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred
Proficiency with Windows required
EMR training experience preferred
Ability to speak effectively before groups of people and making presentations and/or teaching classes
Project management skills preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
